Had to take advantage of the beautiful weather and check out the new trail on an old favorite Mount Yamnuska. Overall liked the changes except the first section of the down trail where we should have just used the usual yellow scree. The new switch back trail below the west col was a little slower but was easy on the knees and avoids the rockfall and rock rash risks of running down the scree. Also no excessive wear and tear on boots.
